Tellius 6.4: Put Kaiya to work, with you in control
Work through tasks with Kaiya
Ask why a metric changed, refine the analysis, and create an App or Mission from the conversation. Kaiya coordinates the analysis and the App/Mission build, carries context into the work you create, and offers to save a correction when you choose to keep it.

Act through MCP. Approve every write.
Pull records from a connected MCP server into an analysis, use them in a later step, or write a reviewed result back to Snowflake. Kaiya works as an MCP client, calling out to the servers you have connected. Every write is presented for your approval and runs as the connecting user.

Every number can be traced back
Preview a Mission before publishing. Ask which query produced any number without leaving the conversation. Kaiya checks a Deep Insight plan before it runs, keeps the rest of the analysis intact when one step needs rewriting, and keeps every published version

Key features of
Tellius 6.4
Work through the task with Kaiya
- One agent plans, runs and checks a Deep Insight end to end. Before planning, it checks the columns it needs and asks you when more than one could answer the question.
- Kaiya chat, App and Mission conversations now share one history, so you can find any thread in one place.
- Turn a Kaiya answer into an App or Mission right from the conversation. Kaiya visibly carries the context over.
- Set a Mission's name, schedule, triggers and recipients in conversation, including Slack and Teams delivery. Edit steps in place and apply all the edits at once.

Act through MCP. Approve every write.
- Kaiya can query your connected MCP servers and save the results as an input step in a Deep Insight, Mission or App.
- Kaiya can write through supported MCP tools, even mid-run in a Mission. Snowflake supports reads and writes, and Kaiya can use operations your other connected servers expose.
- Every write is shown for review and runs only once approved, as the connecting user.
- Kaiya now runs models hosted in your own Snowflake account through Cortex Inference, on your Snowflake credits.
Every number can be traced back
- App chat runs in two modes. Auto takes a request to a finished App once you approve; Plan keeps the work at the definition while Kaiya shapes it with you.
- Every App now has an Analysis tab. Its diagram maps each query to the sections it feeds, so any figure can be traced back to what produced it.
- Preview runs a Mission draft and shows what each step returned, with citations on the figures. You can debug conversationally, and every published version is kept.
- Parts of an App can run on a live query instead of materialized data, so an App can be fully precomputed, fully live, or mixed.
